Original Building looking southeast

Can you find the silk purse?

Someone understandably scoffed that we'd never be able to make this building look anything like a dump!  Thank heaven for architecture school!

The project involved a massive renovation which included replacement of deteriorated structure, a total seismic and structural upgrade and the replacement of all the mechanical and electrical systems.

It also included the removal of a huge lean-to shed that made way for the climbing plaza.  This shed was taken apart board by board by Mountaineer volunteers and the material was re-milled for use in the new building.

Climbing Plaza - Looking North - except there's a shed there!
